Seasons and Resolutions

The end of this week into the weekend has really felt like fall is on its way out and winter will be here soon. I’m not a big believer in resolutions, especially in a New Year, but I always feel like taking stock when I can feel the weather changing.

Speaking of seasons, I really like Kurt Vonnegut’s idea that there really are six seasons — Spring, Summer, Autumn, Locking, Winter, and Unlocking.

November brings us into a time of Locking, which seems fit to me. Time to get things cleaned up outside for the winter and get the house ready for cold indoors weather. Always the time I feel like organizing and getting rid of things.
